The seventh edition of Talking Galleries Barcelona Symposium will take place this month

Talking Galleries, the think tank for galleries, presents its 7th Barcelona Symposium to take place on January 21-22, 2019, at the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA). The Barcelona Symposium is a two-day conference, a unique place for the prominent art world figures to debate and reflect on various aspects of art gallery management. The 7th edition programme will address some of the most relevant issues today, such as women artists on the art market, strategies for going online, Africa’s growing art market, new players on traditional publishing market and creative use of Social Media, among other topics.

Among this year’s participating speakers, we are proud to count with Emmanuel Perrotin (Perrotin) for the opening session, and key industry professionals such as Clare McAndrew (Arts Economics), Elizabeth Dee (Independent), Vanessa Carlos (Carlos/Ishikawa), Alison McDonald (Gagosian), Tim Schneider (artnet), JiaJia Fei (The Jewish Museum), Kenny Schachter, Simon de Pury y Georgina Adam, to name just a few.
