We analyze the jewels in Retiro Auction (II)

Continuing with the detailed analysis that we bring with us of the auction of the Sala Retiro of the next 12 and 13 December, we will now talk about the high jewelery and watchmaking with which we can delight in the catalog of December. At the time, we remind you that you can consult the catalog in its entirety here. The first lot we want to show you, and the highlight of the auction, is a diamond choker inspired by Bvlgari models snake’s choker wrapped around the neck. The base is in platinum cover with diamonds that form the snake, in antique brilliant cut and 8/8, with a total weight of approximately 85 cts. Attached case of Sotheby’s, and goes to auction for € 48,000 (see).

As for the rings, we see two of a high quality. The first is the one that makes up Lot 228, a ring made in platinum, solitary type, with an important diamond in brilliant cut. It is presented set in claws of six double points, with an approximate weight of 5.40 cts. Regarding its purity and color, presents F-G // SI1-SI2, according to the attached certificate of GEMACYT No. 16-JWL-008469. It will also be auctioned for € 48,000 (see).

A ring made in platinum, solitary type

Continuing with the rings we have a ring made in white gold with an emerald in square size, 10.75 cts, trimmed with diamonds in size marquisse, 4 cts. It will be auctioned for € 16,000 (see). Matches with other outstanding pieces of the auction, as is this bracelet in white gold and emerald, composed of three bands and a central border of diamonds in brilliant cut, bright old and 8/8 arranged in decrease, 16.17 cts in weight total. The emerald that it presents is of emerald cut, with a weight of 8.07 cts. It will be auctioned for € 9,500 (see). And finally, completing the game, we see these earrings in white gold with two central emeralds, with a total weight of 8.34 cts, trimmed in turn by brilliant cut diamonds of 0.87 cts. They will go for € 9,500 (see).

Rounding out the jewelry, we find three other featured lots. The first is a white gold choker with twelve cabochon oval cut tanzanites, with a border of brilliant cut diamonds and pieces of rosettes with diamonds, once again in brilliant cut. The approximate total weight is 31 cts. It will be auctioned for € 42,500 (see). We immediately see a platinum-plated bracelet in the 20s, with an antique brilliant-cut central diamond (2.93 cts) and 8/8 cut diamonds and an antique brilliant cut on both sides of 0.60 cts. It will be auctioned for € 6,500 (see). And finally, a beautiful collection box neoclassical style in silver in color and engraved and carved gold, enamelled in turquoise, cobalt blue and brown, with a central motif forming loop, ribbons and wavy patterns set by round cut and cabochon sapphires , surrounded by diamonds in bright antique and 8/8 sizes, with an approximate weight of 3.70 cts. It will be auctioned for € 14,000 (see).

As for watchmaking, there are a significant number of striking lots this month, although we must reduce our choice to four especially prominent. The first, undoubtedly, is the IWC model Big Pilot Father, for gentleman made in platinum, with round case and smooth bezel, with silver dial. The functions are: time, minute, seconds, calendar and power reserve. The numeration is Arabic and sherbet, with needles in diamond style and window for calendar at 6 o’clock, while the power reserve indicator is located at 3 o’clock. The bracelet presented is the original, in brown leather with folding clasp that, like the box, is made of platinum. Its registration number is No. 3646467. It will be auctioned for € 20,000 (see).

The second is a Panerai watch model Officine GMT 10 days, made in gold for men with round case and smooth bezel. It has a 24-hour indicator, and the dial in black with, once again, mixed numerals: Arabic and sherbet. The needles are luminescent stick type, with window for calendars at 3 o’clock. The linear power reserve indicator is located at 6 o’clock, and the second hand and the 24-hour indicator at 9 o’clock. The bracelet is original, leather and with hidden folding clasp made in gold. Its registration number is nº BB1230832. It will be auctioned for € 19,000 (see).

We continue with a white gold Rolex watch model Submariner for men, with a round box and uni-directional rotary bezel graduaco in 60 minutes with ribbed edge: ideal for underwater grip. The disc is blue Cerachrom. The dial is blue, with indexes in 18 K gold, numbering of tritium points, luminescent hands and window with Cyclops lens for calendar at 3 o’clock. The bracelet is also Oyster white gold with Oysterlock folding clasp and Glidelock system for length adjustment. Its registration number is 9C7919G0. It will be auctioned for € 19,000 (see).

And finally, the Rolex watch GMT Master II, in gold for men, with round case, 24-hour unidirectional rotating bezel and black Cerachrom disc. The sphere is green, with numbering of tritium points and luminescent hands, with an additional 24-hour hand indicating the time of references in a first time zone, and a magnifying glass window for calendar at 3 o’clock. The bracelet is the same as the previous one, but it does not have a Glidelock system. Its registration number is nº M168929. It will go on sale for € 18,000 (see).
